Egret Reflection

Here is an elegant Egret.  I liked the way his back end and underside reflected in the water and that he was encased by the foliage.  Did you know that the Great Egret is the symbol of the National Audubon Society which is one of the oldest environmental organizations in North America? Check out this link for more cool facts about the Egret: http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/great_egret/lifehistory

So was anyone out there good yesterday?  I figure someone must be stopping by since my blog has over 600 hits.  Okay, I won't keep you in further suspense just in case you didn't figure it out.  Yesterday's shot was a dandelion that had turned into the white fluff (seeds with wind dispersal fine hairs also referred to as 'dandelion snow')  taken with telephoto.  Did you know that dandelions are totally edible?  You can read more about dandelions here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taraxacum
